Seven people face drugs and weapons charges as part of ongoing Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into illegal drug activity in the CBRM.
Over the last 2 weeks, Street Crime Officers seized Cocaine, prescription pills, a firearm and ammunition from three separate matters: a vehicle stop on Highway 28 in South Bar on March 3rd and search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Water Street in Glace Bay on March 12th and Emerald Street in New Waterford on March 17th.
Brianna Lynn Carrol (37) and Natasha Marie O’Neil (39) are charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Methylphenidate as well as several Breaches of previous Court-ordered conditions.
Ryan Joseph Munden (44) and Sheldon Christopher MacLean (39) are charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Hydromorphone, Buprenorphine, Methylphenidate and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime; Munden is also charged with Failure to Attend Court and MacLean with two Breaches of Probation.
John Blair Tighe (39), Kristen Nicole Reid (34) and Matthew Lovell (30) are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and with Knowledge, and Careless Use of a Firearm and Ammunition. Tighe is also charged with several Breaches of previous Court-ordered conditions.
