Cape Breton Regional Police are looking for help to identify a person involved in a March 3rd assault at the intersection of George and Prince Streets in Sydney.
Police were called to the area at approximately 1:20 PM, where witnesses indicated a man had been punched and kicked by another man who then walked away up Prince Street; officers patrolled the area and were unable to locate anyone matching his description. The male victim was transported by EHS to Cape Breton Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, where he remains now in stable condition.
Through further investigation, police have obtained video surveillance of the assault and are looking for the second person involved, who is described as a man in his 30s who was wearing a grey jacket and blue camouflage pants.
