Cape Breton Regional Police responded to an alarm call at approximately 12:45 AM; upon arrival, they discovered a broken window and a person inside the store, wearing a mask and gloves and holding a garbage bag. Police arrested the 14-year-old boy, at which time a second person – a 16-year-old girl – also came forward.

Both remain in police custody awaiting a Court appearance, where they will face charges of Break and Enter, as well as Possession of Break and Enter Instruments. The male youth will also face charges of Wearing a Disguise and Possession of Stolen Property.
