Beginning Monday, June 1st at 7;00 AM, contractors will be working on both the inbound and outbound lanes of Martha Way, between the George Street intersection and Weatherbee Road intersection, which takes vehicles toward the Healthpark and Membertou. The project includes the installation of storm drainage and repaving of the street and is expected to last up to 2 weeks.

Traffic on Martha Way will be reduced to one lane and Traffic Control will be in place for the traffic lights at the intersection of George Street and Martha Way.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and encouraged to use alternate routes to access the Regional Hospital and surrounding areas, including the newly opened Exit on Highway 125 at Churchill Drive. Motorists traveling through the construction site are asked to use caution.
