Police looking for suspects in home invasion

April 27, 2016

On Wednesday, April 27, at approximately 3:10AM, the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report of a home invasion that had taken place on Park Street in Sydney.

Three males, all roughly 6’ to 6’3” tall and 200 pounds, broke through the door to the residence and entered. One of the males was armed with a weapon.

All three suspects fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of the victim’s belongings. The victim sustained a minor injury, but declined medical attention.

Members of the Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Units continue to investigate.
