Police issue arrest warrant for Justin Andrew MacKinnon

Cape Breton Regional Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant of arrest for 30-year-old Justin Andrew MacKinnon of Sydney, in connection to a home invasion on February 18, 2016.

MacKinnon faces charges of home invasion, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Police originally responded to a report of a home invasion on Keltic Drive in Point Edward at approximately 1:51 AM on February 18th. One male was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

MacKinnon is described as 6’ tall and 220 lbs, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a light complexion. He is known to be violent and could be dangerous.
