A brown 2007 Buick Lucerne had been struck and sustained major damage to the driver side including having its rear wheel completely torn off. The 32-year-old female driver was uninjured. The other vehicle involved in the collision was a red 2008 Pontiac G-5 and police quickly located it at a residence on East Broadway. It had extensive front end damage and the air bags were deployed. The 39-year-old female driver was arrested for impaired driving and had minor injuries. She failed the breath test and was charged with Impaired Driving, Operating in Excess of 80 mg and Failure to Remain at the scene of an accident. She was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on June 18th, 2012.
