Marihuana trafficking charges

May 13th, 2015

A 63-year-old Sydney man faces drug trafficking charges after members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit and RCMP Drug Section made an arrest at the intersection of George and Brookland Streets in Sydney.

Francis "Frank" John Abbass was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre to await a Court date when he will face a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marihuana. 

Abbass also had his parole revoked by Correctional Services Canada.
