Police investigate watercraft collisionJuly 15, 2012 On Sunday July 15,2012, shortly before 5 p.m., the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report that a Sea Doo and a Zodiak boat had collided on the water near the bridge on the East Bay sand bar. The 26-year-old male operator of the Zodiak sustained serious head injuries and was transported to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital where he was later airlifted to Hospital in Halifax in stable condition. Nobody else was injured as a result of the collision. Police are continuing to investigate |
