Male charged in robberyFebruary 10, 2012
At approximately 9:38 AM, members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service responded to a 911 call stating that a male robbed the No Frills Store at 332 Welton Street, Sydney.
Upon arrival, police were informed by staff that a male person wearing a disguise had attempted to rob the No Frills Pharmacy, located inside the store, of medication. Police were given a description of the male suspect that had fled the area before arrival of police. No one was injured and nothing was taken.
The 30-year-old suspect from Sydney was charged and remanded to the Cape Breton Correction Centre; he will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday, February 13th, charged with Robbery, Wearing a Disguise in the Commission of an Offence and a Breach of Undertaking. |
