Early morning impaired driving charge

Early this morning, Cape Breton Regional Police Service responded to complaint of careless driving and possible impaired driving near Mac Auley’s Lane and Upper Prince Street, Sydney.

At approximately 4:16 AM, police located the vehicle and through a subsequent investigation, a male from the Sydney area has been charged with Impaired Driving and Failing the Breathalyzer. The accused will appear in court to answer to the charge at a later date.
