Male charged with Trafficking, Possession

The Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a residence on Ferris Street in Sydney.

As a result of the search warrant, and adult male and female arrested. The 47-year-old male will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on March 29, 2012, facing charges of Trafficking Marihuana and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marihuana. The female was released without charges.

As a result of the search, police seized a quantity of marihuana and cash.
