Community Officers

At the core of the community policing concept, this group of three officers works closely with citizens, not-for-profit agencies and community partners across the CBRM, to keep our communities safe. They educate service groups, students and seniors on crime prevention; set-up Neighbourhood Watch Groups; establish Community Policing Offices and manage several community-based programs, such as Adopt a Library and the Pace Car program.
